Is Base44 safe for production use?

Base44 can be used for production applications, but its safety depends on how the application is configured and what data it handles. The platform abstracts away much of the backend logic, which means developers have limited control over security-critical components like database access patterns and server-side validation. For applications handling sensitive user data or financial transactions, additional security hardening beyond the platform defaults is strongly recommended.
